Honeywell F300 Electronic Air Cleaner is an affordable, low-maintenance whole-house solution that captures up to 99% of particles from air that passes through the system. How it works: First, larger particles are caught by prefilters. The air then passes through an ionizing section, causing particles to clump together and stick to collector plates. Air exits the unit through a postfilter that captures nearly all remaining particles. No replacement filters are required; simply remove the filter every 6-12 months, wash it, and reinstall it.
