It’s almost that time of year again when cooling season comes to an end, heating season begins, and E.P. Homiek resumes our webinar training series. Hundreds of EPH customers have attended our webinars over the years, which are held every other Thursday at 4:30 p.m. (except holidays, of course) and are free of charge to anyone who would like to attend.
We are always open to HVAC topic requests and do our best to accommodate you as we know that training is sometimes hard to find and we want to make it accessible to everyone. EPH webinars are instructed by our manufacturers’ technical staff and by Joe, our mechanical/electrical engineer.
This winter, we will mostly be focusing on HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic work. We will also be revisiting electrical principles in HVAC, one of our most popular classes. Electrical and electronic problems account for about eighty percent of what goes wrong with heating and air conditioning systems, so our webinars will help service technicians understand the basics including troubleshooting and how to read electrical schematics.
We’re also planning targeted webinars for beginners, second or third-year apprentices, and journeymen. Other topics will focus on understanding airflow and heat exchange, thermostatic expansion valves, cap tube systems, reversing valves, and other mechanical equipment. Keep an eye on your email inbox for detailed information. See you soon!
